Quick start

Up and running in 5 minutes

Finds duplicate persons and organizations in Pipedrive and merges them in a controlled way. Set it up like this:

  1. Open PipeClean in the partner portal and click Install.
  2. Authorize Pipedrive (OAuth) – only contacts and organizations are read.
  3. Choose match rules (email, phone, name/company) and set sensitivity.
  4. Run the first duplicate scan and review the suggestions.

Done – merging happens on confirmation, never silently destructive.

Permissions & GDPR

These Pipedrive permissions are requested:

  • contacts:read — read persons and organizations for duplicate matching
  • contacts:full — merge and clean up confirmed duplicates

Data flows

  • Contact and organization data is read for matching and compared server-side.
  • Matching runs in-stream; no contact content is stored permanently.
  • Only a merge log is persisted (record IDs, timestamp, applied rule).

Sub-processors

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Falkenstein, DE) — hosting of the processing
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Dublin, IE) — subscription billing only; no contact data

FAQ

Are records deleted automatically? +

No. Merging only happens after your confirmation; the preview shows exactly what will happen.

How are duplicates detected? +

By email, phone and name/company – each rule with adjustable sensitivity.

Is my contact data stored in the cloud? +

No. Matching runs in-stream; only a log of IDs and timestamps is kept.
